Current Rotel amps - Current vs old

Hi all, looking at second hand rotel amps.

Theres quite a large difference in price between the new and last gen, specifically the RA-02 vs RA-972.

My question is, whats the difference between the RA-02 and RA-972 as the 972 seems to be over £50 cheaper and matching power amps/CD/tuners are more common.

Thanks

From memory the 972 was pretty good and probably will better the RA 01/02. Also look out for good deals on the current range shortly.

The RA-972 is a clear step up from the RA-01/02/03.

The modern day equivalent to the RA-972 is the RA-1062.

The "old" equivalent to the RA-01/02 is the RA-931 Mk2... and its most distant relative was the RA-820BX.
