Does anyone have a good way of cueing up the next track on you HD3?
The problem I have is that having found the next track that I want to play, this title will only remain active on screen for about 30 seconds. If the track you are currently playing still has a few minutes remaining, then by the time that song has finished the screen displaying the next track has expired.

This is always a problem when entertaining friends and being slightly worse for wear. You've got mates round, had a few drinks, "DJing" with the Mp3 player, you've lined up the next killer track, but by the time you need to hit play and seamlessly kick in with your fantastic choice the track title has gone, the screen has returned to the current track (which has just finished) leaving you with silence and shame.

Can you a pick a track in advance which will start playing automatically just as your current choice ends?

You can't do it on the HD5, so I doubt it's possible on earlier models, either - sorry! And yes, that IS a pain!

only way u can do that is to make a 'playlist' beforehand by bookmarking the tracks u want to play and then pressing the mode button so it cycles around to the bookmarked files and press play  just wish you could select a file to play next!

Bearing in mind that Sony - embarrassingly for them - are playing catch-up in the DAP market, expect their future products to have stuff like on-the-go playlisting and track queueing.

Do you think they will eventually release software which will update the HD3 and allow it to do that?
