I have just been hurt by a 7" CRT but in the most unusual way.

I was looking for something or other in the bottom of a box of bits in the workshop. I didn't bother to turn the light on because I knew it was in a cable box on the floor under some racking. After rummaging around for a minute or too I thought I heard the box hiss .............. but carried on looking. I lifted some cables. The hiss can again and WHAM something really cold hit my hand.

**** (insert your own expletive I think I used them all) "I've bitten by a snake!" (remember its dark). and shot backwards as fast as I could landing hard against some more racking. WHAM again as a 7" CRT fell off the self and landed first on my shoulder then into my lap.

By this time the adrenalin was flowing and I was out side getting ready to fight just about anything.

I looked at my hand and couldn't see puncture marks and it didn't seem to be swelling so I got brave and went on a snake hunt. This time with the lights on. I pulled the box out and with a long piece of metal rod started poking around. The hissing started again only it didn't stop.

Turns out I was bitten by an angry can of freezer spray. :clown:

    :D

    Good one Roland. :D

I used to do stuff like this regularly, until my wife pointed out that it would be quicker and safer to just turn on the light first!

Common sense - but not funny.:D

    Cheers

Of course here is the real culprit. Anyone who has seen Roland's boxes will know just how dangerous they are. I wouldn't put my hand in one thats fer sure!
