    Hi,

as a follow on from the VGA to RGB SCART posts, I was wondering if modern tv screens need a screensaver to be operational to avoid burn in of the desktop when displayed or even of the Media Center interface.

If so, does anyone have any technical info for the amount of time it would take for a screen burn in to become noticeable?

I would recommend a screensaver. If your going to use MCE their is a plugin that dims the screen after a set amount of time. Its very good.
