I have recently purchased a Seleco 350 projector, huurrraaahh!!!
    However:
1:- I have no idea how to set it up
    2:- I have no manual

I was hoping to have the manual to give me some idea how to set it up. Could someone tell if the manual will give me the knowledge to set it up properly or will i need a professional? i currently have an lcd projector (panny pta200) and cant wait to see the difference between the two!

Do a search for member "Chris Frost".
He's your man for Seleco's, and is based in Cheshire... :smashin:

Second the recommendation for Chris Frost :smashin:

You should be able to search my posts and find a suitably glowing reference for the wonders he worked on my Seleco 320 Plus.

    Hi Darren, in a nutshell...

You need to start by getting your 350 the correct distance away from the screen (1.5x the width of your screen), DEAD centre and exactly perpendicular to it.

Then you need to focus all three tubes.

Now get the red and blue tubes lined up mechanically onto the green (need a long Phillips screwdriver).

Next you need to get the green tube's geometry set up PERFECTLY (using the little presets), and..

Finally you need to line up the red and blue tubes over the green (which is why the green needs to be spot on!!) - again using the little presets in the correct order...

There's a lot of trial and error - you will probably need to try it a few times.

If you get in a real mess, CENTRE all the presets and start over...

    Good luck!

Hope this points you in the right direction...

    Keith

    Thanks Keith,
I should receive my projector today!!! if its not too warm tonight i will try and set it up following your guides. Sounds pretty straight forward but im sure it will take more than one night! Maybe i should get some cold beers in.
