WOW!

what excellent timing!!!

You and the guy on flea bay with a failed green at the same time?

Or is it that you might consider buying the flebay one?

forgive my post but all too often I see these questions coincide with flea bay auctions.......

The 500 is a great PJ and well worth a retube BUT I think you would really want a new one.

its not just the tube cost........its the engineers time to replace and setup to think about as well.

ARE YOU SURE its the GREEN tube that has failed???

Does the 500 have the OPTIONAL double line board?

the fle bay one is offered as "may be good for parts" in the text.

Buyer beware!

Thanks for the comments, the real answer to the question was does the svt 110 bulb fit into the svt 500?? i think that 100 pounds is worth a gamble.

second hand tubes are very comon

so I guess a max of £250.00 will get you a worthwhile one.

A tubes swop is easy BUT make sure if you do it you know how to set up after that or it wont be long till you need another....

Im guessing it will go for more than £100.00 for those in the know.......

Just as a note....Bulbs grow in the ground, Lamps go in digital pj's and Tubes go in crt's ;)

Best of luck.
