I`m sorry if this the wrong forum as my question can go in a few..
I have Bush 6690D 28"WS IDTV.. I want to hook it up to my computer with a Powercolor (Radeon) 9600XT R96TD3..
Q1.. Is there a correct resolution to be using and if so how do I work out the resolution of my above TV (there isn`t anything in the manual)?

Q2.. I am using a Svideo output from the computer which at the moment then goes into a phono cable then phono plugs into my DVD recorder. I do have svideo connectivity on my DVD recorder (pioneer 540HX). Would I get a better picture once Q1 is sorted out by buying a complete Svideo cable 20 ft (svideo plug at both ends)?
    Thanks in advance...
By the way am extremely pleased with my Pioneer..

s-vhs to s-vhs (svideo) will give best picture quality.

as regards to tv resolution, it doesnt work the same as a pc monitor etc.

a tv generally has a resolution of 540 lines.

i simply allowed my graphics card to output its normal resolution.

the desktop may look different but playing films back will look the same.

it will just be a case of trial and error to determine what looks best for you.
