I am the proud owner of a Philips Fellini100 beamer. Nice picture for a lcd (due to the build in scaler) but...when I watch a movie a have the feeling that a Harrier fighter is above me. I also have 2 dead pixels in the middle of the screen. I always wanted a CRT but the size of a CRT (barco 800) scared me and my wife away from it. My question is I can buy a Sony 1031QM with prestine tubes, 20m vga cable, mounting, 2 remotes etc for £210. What I like about the machine is the size and the noise. I only want to use it for DVD watching so linedoubling is enough for me.
Is £210 to much for an old machine like this?

    Appreciate your inputs

    Regards,

    Paul
