crt cooling fluid

    Hi Guy,

    I'm looking for some help in what to use as a top up fluid as one of my tubes have leaked, does anybody know what i could use ???
    Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    It's ethylene glycol (I think). Like what certain dodgy wine makers used to add to their wine.

    I had to get some for my Sony 1271 but it's liquid was also dyed. So I suppose it depends on the projector whether you need dyed liquid or not.

    I got it from someone who had a knackered tube.

    Do you know why the fluid leaked out in the first place.

    I keep quite a lot of it for working on tubes that build up a fungus which is the usuall need to replace it.

    Which tube/projector is this from. the reason I ask is some can hold a couple of pints.
