Crossover point

Ive just bought the KEF 2005.2 sub and sat, what do i set the crossover point on sub too. Ive read instructions but its still double dutch. please help

Set it to 80Hz, should be the cut off point of the sats.

I disagree with Dean. If there is a switch on the sub to switch the internal crossover out you should use that instead. If there isn't a switch then set the crossover as high as possible and let the crossover in the AV amp handle all the bass management.

I agree with Ian, you should leave your AV Receiver to deal with the crossover which you should set to 80Hz. You then just turn the crossover on the subwoofer to its maximum setting.

there is a swich that says ground out on the sub so i set the crossover to max

Thanks you guys are fantastic my sub sounds brilliant, i can hardly hear it i just feel the room vibrate

In my experience the eggs dont have much energy under 120 hz, so they sound much better if you set the xover to 120 on the receiver, if possible...
