A few months back i purchased a Yamaha AX630 and the Elac Cinema 1 Sub/Sat system ready for when i moved to my new house. Having now set them up i have realised i got the speaker cutoff values the wrong way round with the amps subwoofer cutoff. The speakers only go down to 100Hz but the amps subwoofer crossover is fixed at 90Hz. Using the Avia frequency sweep shows an audible drop between Sats dying and the Sub kicking in. Is this something i should worry about in a real world listening situation?
Is there anyway that the Yamaha crossover can be altered?
I also have a dvd player with built in DTS/DD decoder. This has a sub crossover of 120Hz. I suppose the best option is to connect the subwoofer cable direct to the dvd player? This though creates a problem with sound from other sources.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

There probably is somewayto alter the crossover but thats beyond me.
Between 90Hz and 100Hz - i'm not sure you'll miss much...if its not noticable to the ear then it's probably OK.
