Just setting up my first home cinema consisting of Kef 2005.2 eggs, Pioneer 812 amp and Toshiba 220 DVD player but stuck on what level to set for the crossover frequency.

The instructions from the Kef eggs suggests >80Hz but the only options on the amplifier is 100Hz, 150Hz and 200Hz. Also, the amp's instruction contradicts Kef's recommendations and suggests 200Hz for small speakers.

    Any help is much appreciated.

If it were me, i would try 100Hz as a starter..... if it sounds bad, try 150 then 200

Let me know how you get on, as I have the eggs too but have set them at the recommended 80hz.
