Cross-over frequency question

    Can someone please explain to me what is the cross-over frequency of a speaker , my Jamo E870 main speakers have a cross-over frequency of : Cross-over frequency (Hz) 400 / 2000 can you explain to me the above fiqures? and how can I find my receiver internal cross-over frequency used to re-direct the bass freq from my main speakers? is there a connection btw the speakers cross-over freq and the receivers internal cross over freq, my receiver is the sony STR 930.

    Those figures are the speakers internal crossovers.
    The transition from bass to midrange at 400Hz
    then from midrange to treble at 2000Hz.

    I'm sure someone familier with the Sony STR 930 can answer your next question.
    It's probably fixed at either 80, 90 or 100Hz
