    Hi everyone,

I've finally set up my new HTPC connected via DVI to a brand new Hitachi 32" LCD TV.

I have both the latest versions of PowerDVD and WindDVD installed and using either of these I get a "cropped" image when playing DVDs. That is, i've got approx. 10% of the bottom and top of the image missing!!

This is not because of some setting on the TV because this problem happens even when i run the DVD software in a small window on the dektop. You would think it's a player setting, but in both programs I've fiddled with ALL the settings. Just doesn't make a difference!

What can this possibly be due to? I've searched the net and nobody appears to have similar problems. I'm running a very standard WindowsXP install with nothing fancy going on.

    Any idea??

    Help would be much appreciated,
    Robin
