I've seen that many of these DVDs are Region 0. Can I Play these OK then in My non-modified Region 2 Sony DVD Player without any problems? My TV will play NTSC sources.

Are there any sites giving info as to which of the DVDs are Region 0, as some are region 1 I think?

Can anyone recommend a good supplier of these Criterion DVDs. I usually fin Play247.com to be the cheapest, but they don't seem to stock the Criterion releases.

    Thanks.

    Darren.

try www.jetdvd.com which is where I get all mine from

you shouldnt have any problems playing an NTSC R0 disc.

As to which are Region 0 well it really depends on who has licensed the title to Criterion.

Eg the Toho Japanese films are generally R1 as are the Buena Vista films - but most of them are R0

simple solution - identify the one you want then ask on this forum - someone is biund to be able to help

The reason Play247 don't stock them is that Play source all their discs in Canada. Criterion only officially market their discs in the USA.

Movietyme & Amazon.com have a wide range of titles available from Criterion.
