I bought one of these little buggers yesterday. Connected it to my turntable via the 2 phono connections and then looped the output back to the amp. The actual Creative box of tricks then connects to my Sony Vaio laptop via a USB cable.
I then proceeded to burn a few vinyl tracks to wave file. They played back through the Hi-fi loud enough but when I disconnected the whole setup and played them on my laptop via it's integral speakers, the audio output was expectionally low.
I also found out this morning that the software installed with the device has screwed the audio on the laptop. The left channel was louder than the right, yet there were no indications of this in the setting diplayed. The only way I could remedy it was to unistall and roll back the O/S to Mondays checkpoint.
Anyone else bought one of these from Creative Labs and had any problems. I emailed there Tech Support but don't expect miracles. All sensible advice welcomed.
