My little brother has the Creative MuVo 4gig model. The problem is, he can only put about 1002MB of music on his player before it says it's full. Is there something I'm supposed to do so that I can use all 4 gigs of this player? :lease:

I tried upgrading the firmware and formatting, but still says .98gb and there's not even a MuVo model with 1gb. There's only 512mb, 1.5gb, and 4gb.

Are you sure someone hasn't swapped the drive?

Are you sure its not the the 1.5gb model? Because all mp3 players never actually have the full capacity that it is advertised at...

It says 4.0GB on the mp3 player itself. I don't think it's the 1.5gig because then it would not be .5gb lower than the advertized number. I've been reading online, and it seems that people do swap the drive in this player. If that's the case, what can I do about this?

I hope he didn't pay much for it then because it sure sounds like the 4gb drive has been replaced......
