    Hi
I'm thinking of buying my son an mp3 player for Christmas and the 512mb MuVo caught my eye.
It has good reviews everywhere on the Web, but has anyone here got personal experience of this player.
He hasn't got millions of tracks to listen to, and the idea that he can use it for storing other files is appealing too.
It needs to be PC and Mac compatible, which I understand it is (though not for Apple AAC files), as we use Windows Media Player on one machine and iTunes on the other.
It's about the price we want to pay - £89 to £100.
    Any advice appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Lynn

I don't have one so I can't really comment but take a look at the following reviews I've read through some time ago (mainly from computer sites). I'm sure there are loads more on the net though - actually I guarantee it :). Just type 'creative muvo tx' or whatever in google.

Note that these are for the TX without a built-in radio:

    - http://reviews.cnet.com/Creative_MuVo_TX_FM_256MB/4505-6490_7-30906242.html (actually this is for the TX FM. Look for the feeback on this site too).

Also Amazon is good for feedback on portable audio players (particuarly the US site). Don't worry if you can't find the same capacity as the one you're looking for - the 128mb, 256mb and 512mb will be the same - they'll just be able to hold a different number of songs.

    Alex
