Wasnt sure where to post this ie Mac forum or Windows.
12 months ago my 4 year old Sony lap top got the old "windows failed to start. A recen hardware or software change..............." message.
I wasn't too bothered as I had just bought a nice shiny new Mac Book. However I've been meaning to get this fixed as there are a number of photos on their that I'd love to get back.
I've read all the articles on how to make a recovery disc, however I'm trying to make this recovery disc from a Mac.
I have downloaded the windows recovery disc.iso to my mac but when I try and open it the mac says "NO"
If all else fails I could always take it to the in laws, they have a windows PC
Any ideas
