Hi, I wonder can anyone tell me the best way to create a DVD from multiple VCD's e.g. I have a film spread across 2 VCD's and would like to create a single DVD from these. I also have seperate VCD's of a TV series so would like to have several episodes on 1 DVD. I appreciate that the picture quality will still be poor but it's just for convenience. This would be done on my PC so I wonder if there is any good software for this? Thanks.

The TMPG Encoder series is a good choice fo doing this. TMPG Encoder 3 XPress is probably the best budget re-encoder going at the moment as it offers full 2Pass re-encoding. A trial version can be downloaded from:
    http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/index.html

Simply load in the files and re-encoding into MPEG2 which you can import into any DVD authoring programme, e.g. TMPG Enc Author.
