I picked up a wall hanging screen cheap from ebay the other day, it works perfectly but has got a series of horizontal creases running up it. I rang them and they said to leave it hanging down and eventually they would go. I`m not sure they will, is there any way of removing creases or am I going to have to lash out on a new one, preferably electric?

As screens tend to develop things like creases I cant imagine they will get better with time.

If the screen's been rolled up for some time it is likely to have horizontal bands ... but they do appear to "fall out" if you leave your screen hanging down. It depends on how serious they are, I guess.

Thanks for replies, but these are more like creases, as if it has been folded, so it looks like buying another screen, any ideas on suppliers?

i would just leave the screen down all night in a warm room,

a good screen company is www.ellie.co.uk or screensuk as it is known as,

they offer a wide range of screens and will help you choose one that is suited to you. give Jim a ring he's really good and knows his stuff, or his secretary Lynda Lovelace.

Thanks for replies, the creases are only in the middle of the screen strangely enough. Anyway have ordered another screen from Beamax as found myself seeing the creases when watching a film last night. The creases are too bad to drop out of their own accord.
