    I actually think it's quite catchy, I like the frog's contribution of 'bing bing'! :laugh:

    Hi,

    I do like the Frog himself, but the Axel F rendition is truly dire! Nothing will ever beat the classic 1997 original by Harold Faltermeyer! Not ever! :)

    I played keyboards with a band at the time that covered the original Axel F. And we did a pretty good version as well, considering I only had 2 hands. Anyway, we practised it for about 3 days solid and the first night we played it, it sounded great. Until about 2 thirds of the way through when my jack lead packed in on one of my keyboards.

    I was known as Hraold Fautywire from then on in. Also told it sounded more like Fireball XL5 than Axel F.

    Boohoo :(

    The whole crazy frog thing is absolute dire and mixing it with Axel F is just a ploy to lengthen the life. What are they going to mix it with next, Ghostbusters ?! Can't believe it's going to be released as a single !

    Anyway, the first time I heard the "Crazy Frog" sound (It wasn't called that at the time) was on a German website about 4 years ago. It had a picture of Micheal Schumacher in his F1 car and the now known "Crazy Frog" in it original form played over it with the words "Try listening to this without smiling" underneath. It worked cos I couldn't stop laughing ! I kept thinking of Schumacher being reduced to a 5 year old an not actually driving but making the engine noises instead.

    Richie.

    Hi,

    Ooops - yep, I did mean 1987! Sorry. :blush;

    Michael, you said:
    Well, I was hoping you only had two hands. Any more than that, and people might have started asking questions, or calling you odd names! :rotfl:

    Well acroding to the news today, the people behind the crazy frog have spent around £3000000 on advertising for this abomination :eek:

    Sounds like brain washing to me!
