looking for the best way to connect up my girlfriends creative zen touch to her Clio standard stereo. i may change the stereo to a USB compatible one but i dont think the creative mp3 player allows soind via usb, i could be wrong so correct me if i am.

the next option is to get an FM transmitter. but which one? i had one of these on my ipod and it was crap. i'm sure they are better these days as i had mine agesand ages ago.

can anyone advise me on what to do? or buy. thanks in adance

You could just get one with a front AUX input. Then you have a lead running from the Creative's headphone socket to the input. Will work with any MP3 player then.

    HTH.

had a stereo with the aux input, dont know if it wad just mine but had to crank the volume way way up even to hear it at a half decent volume (ipod 30gb video).

tried with various other players and it was the same

    mine was an aldi special

what about a decent FM transmitter?

Bear in mind if you are transmitting via FM then you will only have FM sound quality.

I had a Pioneer DEH-3900MP connected to an ipod via a 3.5mm lead and it worked fine. No volume issues and sound quality was good.
