    hi
my blade 2 has 2 small cracks in the inner clear part of the disc.
It plays ok, but I have been told it is dangerous as it could break inside the dvd player and bits come flying out.
What could I do to repair the damage?

My Blade Canadian R1 cracked ages ago. Is it the disc on the tray?

Luckily I swap the discs around on my double amarays, so the film is at the back. It was the extra discs that cracked on the tray.

Got Blade 2 (Canadian R1) when first came out from Play, despite having the disc around 2 months before it began to crack in the middle, they replaced it for me when calling - no quibbles. Then that one had to go back, too, as it began breaking in the middle as soon as I put it back in the case. When calling they mentioned there was a bad batch that had suffered this, but hopefully that one would be the last.

Have since put the disc inside a CD sleeve and just lodged where the chapter booklet goes. I noticed that some of the case second holders don't give at all, hence, think the problem.

I got mine from Play as well when it first came out. They weren't interested in the problem. As the extras disc is the one that is cracked, I just replaced the case.

For anyone whose film disc is cracked, is your extras disc fine? I think it was just the tray at fault.

    yes extras disc is ok.
I just wondered if i should put any glue on it to stop the crack getting any worse.
The case on this film is hard to get the disc out on the middle flap thing.

My cracked disc has one single crack that goes straight through into the data area.

I dealt glue would solve the problem It might come off inside the player.

Cracked discs just get worse unless the case it changed. I had to send my star trek DS9 discs back as the packaging cracked the discs. They went from small cracks to the disc actually falling apart.

If you have Star Trek TNG or DS9, check those first. I had five seasons of cracked discs (two TNG and first three of DS9).
