I have just purchased my first 5.1 dvd player and am due to move in to my first flat in the next couple of weeks.
However my main problem is my tv will be set in the corner of the room. therefore when positioning the speakers i MUST have cables running across a open door way.
Can anyone suggest the best thing to do with the cables?
    - run them over the door frame? (although cable is limited)
    - under the carpet
    - or is there some casing i could use to put over the cables and run them staright across?

    thanks for any help.

I usually go over the doorframe (blue-tac is good for this), but you could equally lift the carpet up if it's an edge and run under that.
