I upgraded my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.4, which included the Music update. I have not subscribed to the new streaming service, and do not want to, including any Apple Cloud services (apart from iMessage and Find My Phone). However, all my cover art (part from any items bought via iTunes) has disappeared... Note apart from backing up to my macbook before the upgrade, i have not sync'ed anything to iTunes (which is also at the latest level). I see online there are very many complaints re a similar issue - but they all seem to relate to using the 'new' Music services and online/offline variations of art, playlists, etc... Any idea what has happened to the library on my iPhone? And how to rectify? I am scared to sync with iTunes in case it causes more problems with metadata, etc... (even though the cover art in my iTunes library - which is a copy of my Vortexbox .flac rips - appears to be OK).
