Courier question: Large lump to move ?

I need to move a 450 LB anvil across the country.

Anyone know of anyone able to do this task at a reasonable cost.
It could be loaded onto a pallet prior to transportation if required.

Try parcel2go, they can quote for palletised items. If it's 450lbs it would almost certainly need to be on a pallet.

Just had a look here and used a made up postcode from your area to mine and the price was not all that bad.

Needs to be on a pallet and the kilo weight used was 205k

Tried them but found it impossible to get a quote.
Fields had to be filled in using dropdown menus that didn't include details related and no "Other" options :(

Looks great :)
Completed on-line details - very easy in this case, and competative.
Also - Actually able to speak to someone on the phone as well who was very helpful.
