Does John Lewis's 5yr warrenty cover Bulbs in DLP sets?

Also I saw that one poster had trouble getting them to deliver as he lives "out of town" from his nearest JL store. I live 40miles from my nearest store, would they deliver to this address?

I'm looking for a price match that is give or take a few quid £650 less that JL instore price, would they really drop there price that much?

There has been conflicting reports regarding the JL warranty and free bulb replacement, I suspect they wouldn't but it's definitly worth getting confirmation in writing rather than taking others words for it.

John Lewis will deliver almost anywhere but they do charge if it's outside their locality and this could be around the £85 mark.

As long as the comparison store complies with the John Lewis's price match policy then they should match regardless of the price difference.

I posted the reply you refer to about delivery,it was a plasma by the way sorry on a dlp forum!,I got them to pricematch and saved £500 and a 5 year warranty,they would not deliver outside there area I live 30 miles away so borrowed a van and collected it myself.

Hi guy's I have just spoken to JL and they say they do deliver to my area and they will price match as long as the store it's price matching has them on display for the price quoted.

All good and well except when I rang the store they said they are out of stock and will be recieving more by the end of next week. They also said it isnt a set they generally have in store more in there warehouse because of it's size.
