Well I'm no expert, but I like them. especially the sparkly bits on the water.

    Technically I've no idea!

i dont like the first one - i couldnt make out the entire caard number...

second one shows perspective on the pen which is nice, but i find office stationary pretty dull, i prefer secretarys

really like the 3rd one, i dunno if its technical either but it looks damn good so ******** to it :D

Just what I thought when i looked earlier :rotfl:

1 - good sharpness on the chip otherwise not too interesting a subject

2 - like the depth of field but it's just a pen :)

3 - Also like the sparkles but there is no sense of scale. that water could hold a toy boat or a supertanker.

Guys thanks for the positive comments!! I really appreciate them! I posted the exact same pics on the DPReview forum and I got nothing but very strong negative comments! Very disheartening!! So thanks for the "pick me up!!". :smashin:

You're going to get tougher replies on most other forums mate. Sometimes it's the best way to learn though. But it can be brutal at times, as long as it's the truth and not to put somebody down it can only be a good thing.

Never let it get you down, try to learn from it. Any reply should be only to help you and not to put you down

Not keen on the subjects myself. As a lens sharpness/macro test fair enough but as subjects they don't hold much attention.

But as a test to see if your lens/camera is ok fair enough.

What was the main negative comments you got on dpr
