I think the problem was he had the demisters on cool, so they were making the glass cooler and exacerbating the condensation on the outside, so ron was suggesting he stops blowing cold air at the windscreen.
OK. So for the outside, use the windscreen wipers, and as before, select the demister on to blow warm air onto the windscreen - it’ll eventually warm the glass up and stop any condensation from reforming.
I was basically trying to correct the misunderstanding that turning off the screen vents and just having the face level and floor vents open would achieve anything! Other than warming your feet!
No misunderstanding here, if you read the original post he was saying it happened a few days ago so was using the ac to cool the car down. Your suggestion to use heat is a bit unusual when cooling the car down, defeats the object i'm thinking.
