looks like R6 is still the daddy
Do you listen to the reader reviews or the critics?
Usually i listen to the critics views, but if there are over 20 or so reviews for it i'd imagine the law of averages means that the readers reviews would be more accurate.
Gotta say tho, it will never match the PC version unless you get rid of using an awful gamepad.
Still it is the best team based shooter ever made (so far) and to be marked down on offline play is a bit ridiculous, this game is made for mulitplay no two ways about it.
Plus the graphics are not needed, CS looks fine as it is, it is the gameplay that counts.
As having played CS non-stop for two years I can certainly vouch that it is the best game out there for this type of stuff. Surely it speaks for itself that it is the most popular online FPS for the last 3 years and is still going despite new versions of Quake and UT.
I read a few reviews and make my own decision if possible I try to play a demo. Reviews are opinions and everyone has a different one. I suspect that Counterstrike will be good but it missed the "first to market" that R6 has now.
I haven't played CS for a LONG time but I can't see it has anything on R6.
CS was THE multiplayer game, I agree the optimum control method is mouse and a gamepad cannot give the same control and feeling of realism. However, what killed CS on the PC for me was the cheating, which should be eliminated from the Xbox version.
I think its worth a go and if it isnt much cop online then a trip to game will be in order. Graphics dont bother me that much as long as the gameplay is fun eg Soldier of fortune 2 average graphics but fantastic fun online.
Hey what about Jedi Academy Is any one gonna get this on friday
not sure abour CS though
