I see online a fair number of people are getting CS. Is it worth the £20-£30 or is everybody going to get bored and come back to RS3 after a week. I have heard the gameplay is good, but will it generate as much interest and time spent playing, as RS3 does.

If you've ever played played CS on a PC then you'll find the xbox version a bit poop. I'm not impressed at all.

Wouldn't surprise me Spike, I am a bit hard on the ears:clown:

This problem seems to come and go, a bit like typhoon on our PGR2 session last night:D

Oh and I've given up trying to find Links in a high street shop, ordered it on Play today see ya on there soon.
    Lets hope I can handle a 5 iron better than I can a M16.

I absolutely love CS! Its the only game i play on the xbox,
even though I have R6 pt 3 and others.....

R6 pt 3 just feels so slow and claustrophobic, CS is so action
    packed, I usually play 3-4hrs a time.
(annoys the hell out of the wife!!!!)

I heard that on the PC there was a lot of cheating going on,
eg using "see through walls" & "auto aim" programs. On
Xbox live its not possible to use those cheats.

My only gripe with CS are the graphics, if only they were as good
as say Halo type graphics that would be really nice.

Anyway... here is a nice video review :

Whilst there were cheats about it was a problem that was constantly being combated. And if you played on the right servers you'd come across very few cheats. I was quite looking forward to playing CS on the xbox but it has nowhere near the playability of the PC version. However, if you've not played the PC version then you'll not notice this, so I hope I'm not putting too many people off buying it if they were going to :)

The other thing I noticed is that they've ruined some of the maps. The Italy map only has one real route to the hostages making the gameplay very linear each time. On the PC there's 3 different routes to attack/defend. Much more fun and far more tactical.
