    Count Arthur Strong does the cups and balls


    Ok this is about as simple as you get.
    I think this is a trick, not a trick of TV.
    The lime is obvious.
    Where does the small paper ball go?

    As far as I can see it *does* go under the mug.
    I don't see that rotating the mugs he then knocks it off the table.

    Double sided tape in the mug?

    You never see inside that mug so there must be something on the inside, my initial guess would be a lip that it rolls onto which would be more predictable compared to tape.

    Even with clear cups they do it so well and so fast you still can't see what's going on.

    Indeed yes, it just shows you the amount of planning involved, every single step planned out, and then rehearse probably hundreds of times so it's done without thinking, and with totally natural movements, that make it look like nothing fishy is going on.

    Making anything very hard, look very easy is always the skill :)
