Could you recommend me a great, 26" LCD for around £600/£700?

Hey all, as the topic suggest's
I've read alot of what tv and such reviews, and some here but am still confused. I've also looked at the frequently asked questions but theres not a great deal for new users to lcd starting out.

Went down the local comet saw some ok sets (great phillips one playing monsters INC which looked pretty nice) but I can't help thinking that there are better things elsewhere for same price.

Can you recommend me a great 26"(or close,) lcd TV fo £600 to £700 roughly.

I will be mostly watching DVD's and freeview,

Preferably HD ready.

What else can I add?

Yeah, actually one of the ones I looked at, and it got great reviews from what hmc. A definate "one on the list" for me.

Hi- I also did all the reseach an went for the Sammy 26 (but the Freeview version). DTV is stunning- analogue looks meek next to it, but don't use analogue now. The audio out via Phono's plays really nice via the Yamaha Av receiver as well. The built in speakers are a little weak.
DVD playback excellent. Haven't used he \pc input- I just use it as a telly.
Got mine from QED for £611 plus delivery, but I think they have put the price up now.

That one does not have the IDT ( Freeview ) built in. The LE26R41BD does.

For just DVD use and Freeview go have a look at the Sharp LC26P50E, not strictly HD Ready but arguably one of the better current LCDs for SD.
