    Hi,

I was randomly scanning through my Sky EPG this morning, and noticed that a channel was airing Roman Polanski's acclaimed "Knife In The Water".

However, the print was in an absolute :censored: condition!

Not only was the print scratched to crap, but the sound had more hiss than actual soundtrack/voices, and the subtitles were so faint, that you'd have a better chance of seeing a sheet of white A4 paper, buried under an avalanche! :D

On top of all this, they didn't even show the entire film! That's right! For those of you who know the film, it lasts about 90 minutes, (give or take), minus any ads. This channel gives the film a one-hour slot, and then at the end of the hour, (and with at least two advert breaks), the film just stops (right in the middle of a scene), and continues on to the next programme. No warning, no apology, no notice - just stops dead!

If you want to see this channel, it's called "24/7" and airs on EPG Channel Number 247. (It looks like it's some kind of Christian-fundamentalist channel!)

Good for a laugh, but don't try and watch any of their films!

Knife in the Water doesn't sound the usual Christian fundamentalist fodder. And don't they know why Polanski's banned from re-entering America?!!

No, the worst channel ever was that crap channel setup for the sole purpose by some wannabe popstars boyfriend to promote her career. Which never got off the ground. It was just two or three programmes repeated over and over and over.

Much like ITV2 and probably ITV3
