Could son be classed as "new customer?"

Posted a couple of months ago about trying to get a good deal on HD installation,me canceling, wife opening new subscription. All to no avail.
I don't know what the latest "deals" are by Sky but still not willing to pay major money for a HD install after being with them for 20 years.
However, if I cancelled my subscription could my son, who's 18, ask for a new customer install & get the latest deal?
The subs could come from his account, paid for by you know who.

I heard of people saying that thier husband/wife had left the house and got a new subscription with all the "new customer" benefits.

Got to be worth a try.
