I have a samsung 42" plasma and want to connect my pc to the dvi input. I tried it the other day and it didnt work. looking through the manuals it says the plasma has a DVI-D socket but the graphics card is DVI-I (ati 9800xt). I asume this is why it dont work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it work?

DVI-D will not accept an analog signal.
DVI-I will accept both digital and analog.

Your ATI card = DVI-I so it should send either, I suggest there may be a setting you are overlooking in the ATI display properties. Or you need to enable something in the menu on your panel for the PC input?

Regards
Andy.
