    Monitor Audio Bronze B4

    Monitor Audio Bronze B6

The B4's have a skip load of awards but I can't even find a review of the B6's and there's only about £50 between them in price.

It'll mainly be used for a home cinema set up (not so much music).

    Thanks

In theory I would prefer the B4 to the B6... and also the B2 to the B4... as with any other bookshelf vs Standmount (exception to very expensive and very good built ones).

That saves money to buy a better sub, since you need one!

The difference is in the fact that low end freqs are divided into 2 drivers giving better output and very marginal improvment in freq range.

You'll need a slighly better amp to driver them properly.

If you have to get floorstanders and you're getting a sub go for the B4, if you're not getting a sub get the B6. If you don't mind bookshelf spkrs get the B2 (as Falp said) and use the money on a better sub.

And get better dinamics, atack, control and less ressonance.

Instead of a boom boom sub, get a REL or MJ acoustics.
