Well I could tell you what would work best for me but that's probably not of much help to you.

If you want the best option for you then you'll need to give us some information on how you use the TV, what you watch, what you're expecting from the TV and so on.

If you are facing the TV directly on the panel type on those two TVs isn't ideal, you could instead opt for different models with a VA type panel which will give you better overall picture quality.

Models like the Sony 55XE70xx series or Hisense 55N6800.

Yes that is one of the Sony XE70xx series TVs I mentioned. The differences in the xx in the model number only relate to colour/motionflow strength and aren't important, so whichever you can find cheaper.

You can see the full line up on Sony's website. Sony XE70 | LED | 4K Ultra HD | High Dynamic Range (HDR) | Smart TV

If you can help it i personally would buy elsewhere, I am not a fan of Currys aftersales and customer service.

It’s a little bit of a weird situation basically work give us £800 a year that can only be spent in Curry’s and has to be spent on tech stuff so was planning on picking up a TV and sound bar otherwise I agree I don’t like Currys
