Looking for a new video card to let me edit my Mini DV tapes. I'm not looking for the best, just something around £50-£80 that does the job.

Matrox make good video cards, and as they also make capture cards they know what they are doing:D

I use a Matrox Millenium 550 (dual head) card and this works well for me.

Have a look at their website www.matrox.co.uk

did you mean a capture card?

If so then any OHCI firewire card will be fine as long as you are running Win98SE or better. These can be bought from around £30 or around £50 with editing software.
