Hi guys, I'm after a Nad C320BEE amp and a pair of Epos ELS 3 speakers. Is this a good price:

Second hand NAD amp, perfect condition, manuals, 18months old but no original box - £115 delivered.

Ex Dem Epos speakers, perfect condition, original box, manuals - £140 delivered.

Good prices or do you think I can do better?

New prices are £185 delivered (NAD), and £200.

If you've heard these models together and liked what you heard, then ok, as long as the amp's not faulty in some way. There is always that chance that the items will not be the best match for each other subjectively.

Ex-demo should be ok, as you will still have some redress against the shop if there is a problem - you should ask for some kind of warranty.

For a £130 saving on new, probably not a bad deal - but it's your money!

Where can you get the Nad £185 delivered? I've demo'd the setup and liked what I heard.

Thanks for the link. Can't decide whether to take the gamble of second hand amp and save £70 or not... Shame he doesn't have the original box.

Lol, even so still £60 difference, which is quite a lot in this case (small budget system).

Go richer sounds, say you've seen it cheaper on web, if you can prove it they will match it and give you a tenner off according to their website. Then you have the piece of mind of buying new with a Warranty.

£115 for the amp is a decent price. I paid £220 for mine, new about two weeks ago. However, I didn't buy it through Richers, so £220 new is about the going rate. A cracking amp too, by the way :)
