Actually I was in a field nearby

The sky was very cloudy but with a bit of blue sky now and then to start with but went down hill as the afternoon progressed to eventually sodding well peeing it down.

I missed getting any shots of the Eurofighter chasing the spitfire and any of the harrier as the weather had turned to grey and dark and the rain had started so away went the camera allthough I still watched them and got soaked

Here's a few and I will update with plenty more later if you don't get too bored :p

All cc most welcome even tho I know most of the faults such as too fast a shutter speed on the prop planes so no prop blur  and the amount of shots where I chopped the nose off a plane that was only doing 700mph as it passed :rotfl:

Was a great afternoon tho and glad I went.

Some nice shots, but before anybody else says it - try a slower shutter speed to get the propellers blurred :lesson: ;) :smashin:

Nice shots what equipment / lenses were you using ?

I am off to an airshow in a few weeks :smashin:

Hi, Sony A700 and Sony 70-400mm :smashin:

Forgot to resize these so the forum is downscaling them, looked really bad on my work pc with jagged edges  is that how it is for everyone else ? if so I will re upload them

Yes - "Bit Jaggy" here too.

Can I ask what metering mode you were using ?

Jim

Cheers :smashin:

Nice shots jsw.

Where did you take those from? The airfield itself?

I was at bowling green lane bowls club.

Only got d40 and 55-200. So pretty poor for an airshow!

Hi, I was in a nearby field not far from the base :smashin:

Jim, all re-sized so should be no jaggies now :smashin:

Still look "jaggy" in IE but view fine if I download using "save image"....

Well don't know what it is mate unless the max image size of 800 pixels has changed to something lower
