celeron 440

amd x2 3800+ & amd x2 5200+ (am2) £9.97

it has been posted on other forums for a few days, but some stores stil have them in stock, please note this is in store only, also a little handy tip: when the website has no option to reserve and collect (for all items) online it means there are 3 or less in store, so there is a chance they might be in stock.

Good luck

also pcworld has reduced there usb gadgets to 97p

good finds, might be more worthy in the 'computer bargains' section though :smashin:

lol true i didnt realise there was a section until i posted this

ah well, maybe a mod can move it

also updated the above for ddr deals @ 97p :smashin:

When I'm through at my Ex's there's a PC world just round the corner, will deffo go in and ask. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately my local had absolutely no cpus of any kind in stock - only the inflated cpu/mobo bundles.

No CPU's at my local either, but i did pickup

Stuntman ignition & Ninja gaiden for the PS3 for 4.97 each which aint too bad

And

Those 97p usb gadgets are on buy one get one free if you ask the cashier to press the customer offers button, i just asked out of interest! I do fear my usb cup warmer will burn down my house... :rotfl:

I was in PCWorld on Friday and picked up a PNY 8600GTS 256M Graphic card for £9.97

Using it as a stopgap card until the Ati HD 4670/4850 cards come down in price. :)

i'll go have a look in mine tomorrow, a 5200+ would be a nice temporary upgrade for me :)

just been into the warrington store & it was full of overpriced (scratched & dinted items) junk, i.e an ex demo samsung blueray player (well scratched) £50 off the retail price :eek:

I picked up a 6320 for £9.97 and a PNY 8600GT 256mb for £6.97.

Result!

The Reading PCWorld is refurbishing so they have almost nothing of anything. I asked if they have any processors in stock and they said their next lot would be in two weeks (From some time last week).

I went to the Cardiff PCWorld and they only had one of the higher end processors, which had been opened. I didn't ask for a price.
