I use a 'CopyMate' between my VCR and E20/HS2. Helps to ensure a stable picture which has two benefits. Firstly it ensures the best image from the VCR. Secondly the 'improved' image requires a reduced bitrate to maintain quality.

I would like to get more information about CopyMate.
Where can I buy it? Any further information would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

Copymate is a good piece of kit. There are (I believe) two versions - one for Composite and one that does S-Video as well (not sure about RGB).
