copying tv direct to my computer dvd rewriter

    hello out there

    i want to know if there is anyway of writing dvd's of tv programmes directly using my computer.


    i expect there isn't i dont know.

    if anyone out there knows the answer to this question can you please tell me.

    yes, assuming u want to record freeview, get a digi card, like one from nebula, record the program and u can use writing software to burn it onto DVD.

    u'd be better asking the folks in the HTPC/computer forum, and i think there have been a few threafds about this and other methods on there, just do search in that forum

    maybe this post should be moved there? :confused:

    Ulead DVD moviefactory 2 can write direct to a DVD.
    You will need to get an analogue capture device and feed it with the TV signal to be recorded. I am not sure if you will be able to use an internal TV tuner with this software or even if you can set timed recordings with it.
