Copying files from one hd3 to another

I had a problem with my previous HD3, which had not effected the hard drive. so i just connected it to the PC, and made a copy of the OMGAUDIO folder on the HD3 hard drive. logically, i thought if i replaced the OMGAUDIO folder on my new HD3 with my old one, it should give me all my tracks back. i tried this and it worked, it showed my whole collection, all 300 albums, evrything perfect. however i could not play one track!!! why is this? any sort of copyright? cos now i have a collection which is USELESS! it took me about 2 months to make that collection on my first HD3, and now i have tried puttin the collection onto my new one, it doesnt work! plz help! is there any way to bypass this??

when you copy an atrac file, you think the copy is the same but, it isn't
that's why you can't play tracks
