COPYING DVDs

    Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I want a dvd recorder to copy files from my pc and sky plus hard drive to dvd. What connections do i need from pc to dvd recorder. Also will i be able to copy dvds by playing them on my pc and recording them on my dvd recorder. As you can probably guess i know nothing. HELP!!! :rolleyes:

    To record from the PC to DVDR......probably an S-Video and two phono plugs to S-Video and two phono plug lead.

    To record from Sky+.......a fully wired scart to scart lead.

    You will not be able to copy commercially bought DVD's due to copy protection.

    ......unless you install DVD Shrink on your PC and then your PC rewriter will copy any dvd.DVD Shrink is free

    My laptop doesnt have a dvd writer, will i be able to copy to my dvd recorder???????????
