Copying DVDs onto computer

What is the best way of copying DVDs straight onto a DVD-R on a computer to be played back on a DVD player? Both the computer's DVD - recorder and my DVD player are both Pioneer.

If the DVD's you want to copy are not comercial disks (ie your own DVD-R's etc) then you can just do a DVD copy within a burning prog such as Nero.
If they are comercial disks then they will be copyright and too large to fit on a 4.7Gb DVD-R. Therefore you will need a prog such as DVDShrink to make your 'Backup Copies'
