Is there copy protection on any Sky channels?

I've got std Sky (not Sky+) and a HDD/DVDR and clearly timeslip is too cool not to be able to use it:D

Only the boxoffice movie channels use macrovision I believe.

A lot of the lesser channels use the 'broadcast c*ap' method of detering recording. ;)

No, if you paid for the footie you can record it.

try ebay, type in "macrovision",a guy called kbtv is selling them.

i bought a lead from him, without knowing you can buy cheaper from www.sonel.co.uk/com ? but saying that,i am very pleased with mine, works on everything (inc box office)......note****you cannot record in rgb, with this device.

Try www.CPC.co.uk they do a range of different "copy enhancers" which should solve this problem.
