I got one afew months ago but quickly sold it on after I heard about the overheating and burning problems plus it seems using them invalidates the MS warranty which isnt a good thing.

then why consider one? They seem the biggest waste of money to me. The 360 was built by M$ and shouldn't overheat to the extent of damage and if it does your entilited to a replacement. If people had custom built their 360 i could understand people cooling them but they didn't.

Is it a nyko or a vertical stand one?

Im also going to be inclosing it, and soundproofing the cabinet it so watching HD-DVDs wont drive me mad, hence why I need one ;)

How do you go about soundproofing a cabinet? I'd be interested to know how and what to use to do this.

I'll be getting some sound absorbing foam to insulate the door with, loads of websites sell strips of it :smashin:

On another note, what do you guys think of this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Madrics-Freezer-Xbox-360/dp/B000IAZ38G

Does not draw the power from the power supply aswell, play.com says it has 'ventilators' aswell.

Well if you're enclosing it, it really doesn't matter what fans you stick on if the hot air extracted has nowhere to go.

Maybe enclosing it and then sticking some large slow moving PC fans on the cabinet would help, bit like hush boxes for a projector?
